- Lead cost management efforts for large-scale government projects, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Oversee baseline development and change control processes, ensuring alignment with Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices
- Develop and implement cost-tracking strategies using Deltek Cobra and Oracle Primavera software
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, using strong negotiation and communication skills to drive project success
- Analyze project cost performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to optimize project financial health
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with government financial regulations, policies, and contract requirements
- 25 years of experience as a Cost Specialist on large-scale government projects, with leadership experience preferred
- Strong expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), baseline development, and change control
- Proficiency in Deltek Cobra & Oracle Primavera software for cost tracking and analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders
- A four-year degree is preferred (In business, finance, engineering, or a related field). Candidates with significant relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
