This is a full-time, on-site hybrid position in Miami, FL.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Merchandise Manager to join the Guy Harvey team in a newly created role that plays a central part driving our merchandise strategy, seasonal product planning and go-to-market execution.

This position will partner closely with Design, Planning, Sales, and Marketing to drive line architecture, ensure financial alignment, and help deliver compelling, profitable assortments across key channels. The ideal candidate is equal parts analytical and creative — passionate about understanding consumer and market trends, with a strong instinct for product and a sharp eye on performance.

What you will do:

Strategic leadership and brand/business growth mindset

  • Define and drive the merchandise strategy that drives sales, profitability and market share growth. Utilize data to create the line plan.
  • Lead with a strategic mind-set and have a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Focus on the consumer first and use data analytics and consumer insights to optimize assortments, identify opportunities and reduce risks.

Merchandising, Seasonal Line Strategy, Assortment Planning

  • Lead seasonal line planning and assortment architecture across categories, ensuring product segmentation by channel and SKU efficiency
  • Build a pricing and promotional strategy that balances product margin goals and being competitive with retail pricing in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with Design to define style count targets, product segmentation, and category balance based on past performance and growth opportunities
  • Align seasonal assortments with brand goals, channel needs, and financial objectives
  • Champion innovation, foster new ways to test, anticipate market shifts, and enhance assortments that align with evolving consumer needs.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Establish initial cost targets, pricing strategy, and margin goals for each season in partnership with Design, Sourcing, and Planning
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to build SKU-level forecasts and inform buy strategies based on projected demand
  • Ensure guardrails are in place to protect margin, avoid over-SKUing, and drive efficient use of resources

Market & Consumer Insights

  • Conduct competitive analysis and trend research to identify market whitespace, category opportunities, and risks
  • Leverage consumer data, retail sales reports, and marketplace insights to inform product decisions and seasonal strategies

Go-To-Market Tools & Sales Support

  • Own the development and maintenance of GTM tools, including internal line sheets, pricing decks, product briefs, and sales tools
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure all tools reflect accurate product details, product storytelling and positioning for seasonal launches
  • Present assortments to cross-functional partners, clearly communicating the “why” behind line decisions

Performance Analysis & Seasonal Hindsight

  • Track bestsellers, underperformers, and style productivity across seasons and channels
  • Provide clear hindsight reports and recaps to guide future assortments, pricing strategies, and category development

Who you are:

  • 3–7 years of experience in merchandising, product strategy, and planning — preferably in apparel or outdoor product category
  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of margin, costing, and pricing frameworks
  • Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis; experience with PLM, ERP, or retail planning systems a plus
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and an ability to balance creative product vision with commercial goals
  • Passion for outdoor lifestyle, apparel, or mission-driven brands is a strong plus
