Intrado is looking to hire an SR (PSAP) Client Support Trainer in Longmont, CO to join our Life & Safety business segment. This role will be instrumental in training our 911 call center (PSAP) clients on how to use our software.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for assessing training needs to devise the most effective, efficient, and appropriate training model and materials necessary to exceed training expectations
  • Preparing and professionally conducting training for new and current clients utilizing established training materials
  • Provide assistance and guidance to co-workers on best approaches, practices, and lessons learned
  • Assist in trial calls to ensure effectiveness of purchased system
  • Obtain end-of course evaluations from course participants in order to assess the effectiveness of training
  • Strive to enhance the department's relationship with customers, ensuring the highest quality, responsive service possible is provided

Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in education, communications, or computer networks required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, communications, or computer networks preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 year training experience
  • 1 year training development preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Intermediate knowledge of Power 9-1-1 software (e.g., Power MAP, Power MIS, Power Viper, etc.) required

  • Minimum 3 years 9-1-1 dispatching experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% or more of the time may be required

  • For candidates located in Colorado, the starting salary range is between $33- 42 an hour and will be commensurate with experience
