Position Overview:

IntuBlade Co. is actively seeking regional sales representatives in the Philadelphia area on selling and promoting the IntuBlade Video Laryngoscope system. The sales representative position would be actively focused on selling primarily to emergency medical service (EMS) providers within a designated territory, while also targeting critical care and anesthesia departments. Sales will be driven by demonstrating the device's benefits in improving airway management during intubation procedures, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while staying updated on market trends and competitor activity; essentially acting as a trusted partner to healthcare facilities and EMS providers to successfully implement Intublade’s technology and enhance patient care. 


Key aspects of the role:

  • Product Expertise:

Deep understanding of the IntuBlade VL system’s features, functionalities, and clinical applications to effectively address customer concerns and demonstrate value proposition.

  • Sales Strategy Development:

Identifying potential customers, creating targeted sales plans, and executing strategies to generate leads, schedule product demonstrations, and close deals.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Building rapport with key decision-makers like EMS Directors, emergency medicine physicians, critical care nurses, and hospital administrators to understand their needs and tailor presentations accordingly.

  • Clinical Education:

Providing in-service training and hands-on demonstrations of IntuBlade to healthcare professionals to ensure proper usage and optimize patient outcomes.

  • Market Analysis:

Staying informed about market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting the airway management market to adapt sales strategies accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:

Consistently meet and exceed sales goals for assigned territory by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals. 

  • Product Demonstration and Education:

Provide in-depth product demonstrations of IntuBlade’s technology, effectively communicating its benefits and addressing customer concerns. 

  • Lead Generation:

Proactively prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events such as conferences and tradeshows. 

  • Sales Pipeline Management:

Accurately forecast sales potential, manage a robust sales pipeline, and prioritize sales activities to maximize results. 

  • Presentation Skills:

Deliver compelling presentations to healthcare professionals, tailoring information to specific customer needs. 

  • Reporting and Analysis:

Regularly track sales activity, analyze data, and provide detailed reports to management to identify areas for improvement. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in the medical device industry, ideally with experience in airway management or related specialties 
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including reimbursement guidelines and purchasing processes 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals 
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with a strong work ethic 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Willingness to routinely travel within assigned territory to meet with potential and current customers 


Compensation:

Base compensation will be determined by previous experience, qualifications, and proven success. This position will be accommodated with a strong commission structure incentivizing performance and sustained growth. Milestone bonuses will be available along with commission trails for product reorders.
