• RN Emergency Department
• Facility: Baylor Scott and White Hospital- Brenham, TX
• Department: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift/Status: Full Time, 36 hrs/wk
• Schedule: Mid Shift (11am-11 pm), self- scheduling
• Emergency Department Specifics:
• Patient Population: Diverse population including pediatric and adult patients with acute and often complex emergencies.
• # of beds: 15
• Patient Ratios: 1:4

Qualifications:

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the ER, including patient assessment and IV insertion.
• Administer basic life support and manage airway as needed.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with catheterization and tube feeding.
• Maintain BLS certification and adhere to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $32.00 - $53.00 per hour
