Role: Toshiba ACE, Toshiba Checkout Developer

Duration: 12 months contract

Location: Pleasanton, CA Remote

The client that is seeking a Toshiba ACE, Toshiba Checkout systems, and Store Integration Developer for a 12 Month Contract and can sit 100% Remote.

Top Requirements: Experience with Toshiba ACE (Toshiba ACE is primarily written in C and C , with some components leveraging Java for integration, customization, and newer feature enhancements. Given its long history in retail environments, ACE s core system is designed for stability and performance, while Java is often used to extend functionality or integrate with modern retail technologies.) Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Toshiba ACE POS and Checkout solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Toshiba Store Integration (SI) solutions.
• Manage content updates, ensuring accurate deployment to SCO systems and reporting on its status and frequency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Toshiba POS systems.
• Enhance POS features to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Develop Java-based solutions to integrate with Toshiba POS environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working with Toshiba ACE and Toshiba Checkout systems.
• Strong understanding of Toshiba Store Integration (SI) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Java development.
• Knowledge of POS architecture, payment processing, and retail workflows.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Experience with retail environments and POS system configurations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
