Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The primary function of the PMC Coordinator (PMCC) is to coordinate the calibration of equipment utilizing outside services and maintain calibration certificates in the PMC database. PMCC ensures assets meet calibration and documentation requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The PMCC works independently to execute Intuitive's external PMC process and outside services. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Schedules equipment for onsite and offsite calibration with ASL vendors
- Prioritizes Equipment, Fixture, and Tool (EFT) external PMC and collaborates with engineering to determine priority as needed
- Tracks inbound and outbound packages
- Continuous improvement of outside services turnaround time
- Collaborates and meets with calibration houses regularly to resolve any immediate issues
- Maintains calibration certificates and user manuals
- Creates purchase orders and reviews service agreements
- Maintains appropriate documentation and records of PMC activities
- Performs basic preventive maintenance and verifications for COTS
- Creates Equipment Events (EE) for OOT EFTs and assigns tasks to appropriate task owners
- Manages EE in SAP, ensuring satisfactory and immediate response to repair and/or escalate
- Ensures compliance is maintained in PMC work and escalates potential issues to team leadership
- Issues asset numbers and maintenance plans for new or duplicate EFT
- Oversees and maintains PMC consumable and spare parts inventory
- Performs inventory count and creates and maintains safety stock level
- Develops and maintains replicate Equipment/fixture/tools list
- Supports EH&S to correct or prevent safety incidents
- Performs any other relevant projects or duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
Skill/Job Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; minimum, 2 years related experience working with vendors to schedule on-site calibrations and outside services
- Proficient in SAP, Agile, MES, and PMC Module (establishment of Work Orders, notification, Activation & Inactivation, and Results recording)
- Understanding of Quality Control, Inspection, Metrology, PMC, GDP, and GMP
- General awareness of compliance requirements and maintains vigilance around the workplace for potential violations
- Trained on using a pallet jack and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with measurement tools: dial calipers, micrometers, force gauges, Instron, and other materials testing equipment
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits and equity, and the anticipated pay rate for this position is $57,200 to $77,400. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including location, skills, and experience level.
