Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technician plays a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing support to physicians and nurses throughout the procedure.

NOTE: Candidate must be 50 miles away from the facility.

Job Position: Endoscopy Technician
Location: Fort Myers, Florida, 33901
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 10 days of call per month to include a weekend
Hours per day: 8
Hours per week: 40
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare endoscopic equipment before procedures
• Assist medical staff during endoscopic examinations and treatments
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the procedure room
• Handle and care for endoscopes following proper protocols
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

Qualifications

• Endoscopy Tech Certification
• 2 years experience in specialty required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• BLS Required
• Copy of Covid card
• 6-8 on call shifts per schedule, discuss further with manager
• Please ensure HCP is flexible

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
