Job Description :
We are seeking a Design Engineer with 3 years of experience in the automotive industry to focus on electronics packaging design for vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing electronic enclosures and components to ensure durability, thermal management, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop electronics packaging solutions for automotive applications.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs, connectors, and thermal management systems into enclosures.
Perform DFMEA, tolerance stack-ups, and thermal / mechanical analysis to ensure design reliability.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective and scalable designs.
Utilize CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or Creo) for 3D modeling and drawing creation.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (ISO, SAE, IPC) and environmental regulations.
Support validation, testing, and design optimization for vibration, thermal, and EMC requirements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or related field).
3 years of experience in automotive electronics packaging design.
Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and design.
Experience with thermal analysis, EMI / EMC shielding, and environmental sealing.
Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and GD&T principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
