Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing NPI Engineer with 2 years of experience to support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to production, optimizing manufacturability and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support NPI activities, including process development, validation, and production ramp-up.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues related to new products.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA/PFMEA), and process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain integration for new components.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory requirements as applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or process development.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, injection molding, or automation.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and process validation methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing ERP/MES systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
