Job Summary
Inverness Club in Toledo, OH is seeking to hire a full-time and part-time Bartender. As a Bartender, you arrive for each of your scheduled shifts ready to provide our customers with the most welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient service possible. In order to provide the best customer service, you familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials. With your charming and confident personality, you take food and beverage orders as well as suggest/inform members and guests about dinner, dessert, and wine selections. You mix and serve drinks using the proper service method for wine and other beverages.
In addition to taking care of members as they dine in our restaurants, you also mix drinks for events such as weddings, parties, private dinners, golf outings, and more as part of our banquet staff. At these events, you also set up and break down the bar. No matter your location, you are always sure to provide excellent customer service and expert bartending. You love interacting with our members, who you have come to know by name, and enjoy bartending in this fun environment!
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager
Supports: Clubhouse Manager, Locker Room Manager, Events Manager, and General Manager
Job Tasks (Duties):
- Greeting customers
- Learning about their preferences
- Answering questions
- Recommending menu items
- Preparing and serving beverages and food
- Upselling items
- Creating recipes
- Utilizing proper equipment and ingredients
- Handling basic cleaning duties
- Verifying the identification and age of customers
- Accepting payment from customers
- Cleaning glasses and bar utensils
- Balancing cash receipts to record sales.
- Managing inventory
Candidate Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 21 years old or older
- Previous bartending experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $16.00 per hour
