About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our driven geospatial team. As a GIS technician, you will be responsible for field inspection, travelling, mapping, and editing using ESRI ArcGIS software. You will work closely with our project managers to ensure that the data meets specified standards and is delivered daily. An ability to communicate and collaborate with our internal teams is expected.
Responsibilities
· Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and standards, focusing on health and safety.
· Gather inspection and mapping data and upload to ARC GIS.
· Operate hardware/software
· Complete weekly timesheets and expenses
· Ability to conduct inspection services in the field.
· Ability to work well as part of a team and the ability to work alone.
Required Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
· High school diploma or GED
· Positive attitude & strong work ethic
· Must be willing to travel daily (Company vehicle provided)
