Job Description
The Role:
The Senior Manager of Talent Strategy and Enablement at Invesco will play a pivotal role in bridging the entire talent continuum, including talent acquisition, talent management, learning, and leadership development. Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer, this role is responsible for developing and implementing a consistent design to tools and resources that are critical for our global employees, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and enhancing our overall talent capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, with a proven track record of creating effective tools and resources. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible and easily consumable solutions. Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in helping to build an integrated talent strategy that aligns with Invesco’s business objectives.

The Responsibilities:
- Understand the external macro environment and work to translate external trends and best practices for the firm. Help build an end-to-end integrated talent strategy and roadmap
- Produce comprehensive tools and resources across talent acquisition, talent management and learning & leadership development. Help build templates and structure to our approach to talent resources that can be applied by the broader talent team. Work across stakeholders to streamline and integrate processes where needed. Ensure connectivity to data and analytics across the talent function that translates into executive level outputs.
- Ensure that all talent strategies and initiatives have a consistent look and feel across global locations. Develop and maintain tools and resources that support a unified approach to talent
- Work across the team to leverage existing survey data and conduct additional focus groups as needed to identify needs and pain points specific to maximizing Invesco’s investment in Talent tools (learning platforms, content, resources etc)
- Analyze existing tools and resources to uncover gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Develop initial design concepts through brainstorming and sketching:
- o Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and iterate on design ideas tailored to Invesco’s Talent needs.
- o Conduct usability testing sessions with Invesco employees to gather actionable feedback.
- o Iterate on designs based on feedback to enhance usability and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a design and change focused role, with a focus on creating tools and resources.
- Experience in human capital and talent focused work to ensure applied and relevant subject matter expertise.
- Proficiency in a broad range of design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and Figma.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and successful project outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all designs are user-centric and address the specific needs of Invesco’s target audience.
- Focus on creating intuitive and accessible interfaces.
- Maintain consistency with Invesco’s brand guidelines and design principles.
- Stay updated on external trends and integrate them into Invesco’s talent strategy.
