What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable position at InvestCloud?
Investcloud is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounts Payable team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, and month-end close processes.
What does a great Staff Accountant do?
The ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset and a commitment to process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency within our accounting processes. Accountant must be highly organized and eager to learn more about the business. Must be able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidate is expected to display a high degree of integrity and professionalism while working with financial documents.
Responsibilities of the role
- Be able to review and process vendor bills in a timely and accurate manner for multiple subsidiaries.
- Work with different business units on vendor bill discrepancies.
- Have the ability to review, analyze, and create Reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Be able to manage and put together our weekly payment runs for all domestic subsidiaries, while ensuring payments are sent out in a timely manner.
- Prepare month end accruals journal entries
- Analyze expense trends month over month.
- Assist in Pcard support collection efforts
- Work closely with vendor management on the Purchase Order process for clear and concise invoicing information.
- Assist in external audit requests.
- Lead year end 1099 reporting efforts.
