Our 100 employees are located in 3 offices as well as working from home (WFH). This position is for the Boston office, our HQ. We are looking for a leader to help grow and transform the business as we prepare for the next investor.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the candidate will work in the office 3 days a week at the 855 Boylston Street location in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation:
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize the company's technology landscape and improve business processes.
- Set the IT strategy and execute it to align with the company's long-term goals and digital transformation objectives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to drive innovation and business growth.
- Develop and implement a digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and drive growth.
- Plan and execute change management programs as needed for digital transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud migration.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support current and future business needs.
- Oversee help desk operations to ensure timely and effective support for all users.
- Collaborate with the MSP to provide comprehensive user help desk support.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Establish and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Implement cybersecurity risk reporting for the executive team.
- Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of business applications and software solutions that support company operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration of business applications with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee the company's communication systems, including telephony and collaboration tools.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Plan and manage the transition from on-prem servers to cloud-based infrastructure.
- Identify AI tools and implement process improvements for work product development (e.g., lead generation, proposal development, report writing).
- Begin to migrate the current QuickBooks Online financial system to an ERP that integrates with CRM and reduces manual project tracking.

- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and support.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and wear many hats.
- Excellent understanding of the user impact of IT changes.
- Experience working with MSPs and acting as a liaison.
- Experience managing people and teams.
- Strong leadership and governance skills.
- Experience in a growing company environment.
- Familiarity with systems like CRMs, ERPs, and HRIS.
- Technology Expertise: Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Salesforce.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
