Job Description
The Education Development Professional will be responsible for supporting the educational growth and development of students with special needs at Invictus Academy of Richmond. This role requires a deep understanding of special education laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as Case Manager for enrolled students; prepares for and participates in IEP meetings.
- Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings.
- Develop and coordinate an annual schedule of IEPs.
- Draft IEPs and ensure compliance with all components of the IEP.
