Description
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Application Support to assist with managing external user accounts and ensuring smooth access to and usage of their accounts. As a junior role, you will be responsible for account creation, troubleshooting access issues, and providing excellent customer support to external users via phone and email. This position is ideal for someone looking to launch their career in application support.
This position follows a standard schedule of Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create, manage, and maintain external user accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is entered and stored.
- Troubleshoot and resolve account access issues, offering clear, step-by-step guidance to external users.
- Contact external users via phone or email to confirm successful access or offer assistance when necessary.
- Provide walkthroughs of account setup and login processes, ensuring users can easily navigate their accounts.
- Offer continuous support to external users, ensuring a positive experience and user satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to external user inquiries, resolving issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Teams) to manage communications, documentation, and task scheduling.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of external user interactions, documenting the nature of issues and resolutions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Teams) is required.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for providing effective customer support.
