Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise and oversee inventory and supplies receiving, storage, line feeding/picking operations, and effectively manage inventory control to support production and company goals. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures materials are available when needed, implements best warehouse management practices, and optimizes warehouse processes while developing and leading a high-performing team to maintain efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished products, including constant ERP updates.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and audits, targeting >90% accuracy.
- Implement warehouse improvement processes such as barcoding, serialization, and stock unification across multiple locations.
- Monitor and optimize space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure timely picking and kitting of materials per production schedule, ensuring on-time delivery to assembly areas.
International Shipping & Compliance:
- Oversee international shipments, ensuring all documentation, labeling, and packaging comply with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth international shipping processes.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (e.g., EAR, BIS, and other global trade laws).
- Maintain accurate records of all international shipments and resolve customs clearance issues as needed.
- Optimize freight and shipping costs while ensuring on-target deliveries.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Conduct daily team meetings to review priorities, KPIs, and safety protocols.
- Develop a strong leadership culture within the warehouse team that is aligned with corporate values.
- Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct routine safety checks and enforce proper PPE usage and safe handling of materials.
- Support the company’s goal of zero accidents by actively participating in EH&S initiatives.
Procurement & Logistics Support:
- Coordinate with the purchasing team to track inbound shipments and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Assist in optimizing freight costs and storage strategies.
- Ensure smooth coordination of intercompany transfers, reducing shipping errors and improving first-pass yield (targeting 95% accuracy).
Technology & Process Improvement:
- Support the implementation of barcode scanning and Acumatica ERP integration for warehouse tracking.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within warehouse operations.
- Assist in implementing automation and digital tracking tools to enhance workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in a manufacturing or boat-building environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish is a must.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Experience with international shipping, customs compliance, and trade regulations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software (Acumatica experience preferred).
- Forklift operation and certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
