Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid – In-Office at least 2 days per week)
Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM local time Monday through Friday. Flexibility of Working Hours dependent on location. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.
Compensation: $120,000 annually.

Overview:
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) at InVita plays a critical role in driving R&D efforts by blending deep technical knowledge with robust operational management skills. This role is central to managing project prioritization, resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to cross-functional policies amidst shifting priorities. The TPM is tasked with resolving conflicts over timelines and resources, ensuring that all projects are well-planned, documented, and appropriately scoped. By promoting ongoing planning and proactive project management, the TPM is key to enhancing operational efficiencies and spearheading strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Project Coordination and Reporting: Act as the primary technical liaison for project initiatives across departments, utilizing Atlassian JIRA and Service Desk to maintain project transparency and support decision-making with detailed progress reports.
- Monitor project elements: Oversee critical project metrics such as backlog, throughput, and customer satisfaction through analytical dashboards, adjusting project strategies based on trends to improve outcomes.
- Project Management and Conflict Resolution: Manage all aspects of project execution, from detailed planning and risk management to resolving conflicts in resources and timelines, ensuring project quality and adherence to long-term strategic goals.
- Expertise Development: Cultivate a deep understanding of InVita’s products to influence and enhance product strategies and improvements.
- Additional Duties: Adapt to evolving business needs and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational and Professional Background: Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Information Systems, or related field required; PMP or CSM certifications strongly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in technical program management, preferably in healthcare or related industries, with a proven track record of leading complex projects to successful completion.
- Methodological and Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in project management methodologies such as Kanban, Agile, and Waterfall, and tools including Atlassian JIRA, ServiceDesk, and Microsoft Excel, with flexibility to adapt these to varying project needs.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated analytical prowess with a solid ability to address problems comprehensively and efficiently.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective leadership and stakeholder engagement. Must be capable of articulating complex information clearly and influencing decision-making across all company levels.
- Adaptability and Work Ethic: Highly adaptable to changing business demands, with a meticulous and organized approach to work.
