What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Associate position at INW Manufacturing, LLC?
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect and Unload delivery trucks.
· Understand and comply with all Receiving requirements.
· Understand all paperwork for CRD records.
· Prepare and print product labels.
· Prepare and print product travelers.
· Move received product to QA staging area after receipt.
· File receiving paperwork.
· File damage claims when necessary.
· Accountable for the quality of product made.
· Accurate and timely recording of process parameters on specified documents
· Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area
REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
· Must have detail and organization skills.
· Must be willing to work with computers.
· Must communicate well, written and oral, with others within the organization.
· Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure and to perform the four operations with like or common fractions to compute percent.
· Must be able to move 50 lbs. from floor to 48 inches height.
· Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, climb, perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
· Must pass in house forklift certification.
WORK CONDITIONS
1. Subject to normal warehouse environment, but must also be in the production areas on occasion.
2. Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection may be required.
3. Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, powder, dust and other particles.
4. Subject to forklift traffic conditions.
