What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mill Operator - 2nd shift position at INX International Ink Co.?
We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture highquality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill / Mixer Operator you will be responsible to :
- Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
- Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
- Clean and maintain machine to TPM Standards
- Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities
- WeighUp Batches : Shift auto and manual steps. Follow process order of addition.
- Mix Batch : Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOPs
- Hockmeyer mill operation : Run and maintain optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
- Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times
- Canning
- Operate the following : Press out unit pump filter equipment and forklift
- To act as a QC liaison providing ink samples making ink adjustments and recording data
- Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
- Help with repacks
