Job Responsibilities:
- Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate work estimates.
- Analyze proposals, blueprints, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Compute costs by meticulously analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Conduct site visits to inspect and determine scope and costs effectively.
- Develop and write a scope of work for sub-contractors for each trade.
- Coordinate for sub-contractors quotes when required.
- Develop comprehensive scopes of labor and materials for projects and present precise estimates.
- Ensure transparent communication and documentation of customer needs and expectations on written proposals.
Qualifications: 3 years of experience in the construction field, preferably as an estimator.
- Ability to manage own schedule and work independently.
- Strong written, math and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and demeanor.
Salary : $50,000 - $80,000
