Job Purpose - In Office Position Only

Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the

technical specifications of the computer software offered by the company. Negotiate price for the

sale. Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selling the product!
  • Work with PSL Director to develop tactical plans to support lead targets and revenue goals
  • Support lead nurturing and sales inquiries and follow-up
  • Generate new sales leads via prospecting (i.e., cold calls)
  • Collaborate with Marketing and PSL Director to develop relationships and promote interest for PSL within the existing client base
  • Participate, support, or lead software demos to clients and prospects
  • Assist in the maintenance of relevant customer databases (CRM & Automation System)
  • Perform research on to find new trends, prospects, and competitors as requested
  • Help monitor lead performance and work with Marketing to optimize lead nurturing workflows under guidance of Sr. Director
  • Work with Marketing to draft sales support tools (i.e., collateral, communications from Automation system, social media posts)
  • Assist with researching, creating, and completion of any technical documentation as needed for proposals, pricing models, etc.
  • Coordinate set-up of PSL accounts, promotional codes, and / or courses by working with Software
  • and Marketing teams when needed
  • Provide assistance to Sr. Director as needed but not limited to performing data entry duties in regard to metrics, sales figures, course queue, and other key data.

Position Requirements

  • Skills and Experience
  • Experience selling both application as well as cloud-based software
  • Substantial knowledge of the chemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries, via prior vertical expertise or experience
  • 5 years of software sales or consulting experience in application software, Business Process
  • Management, Document Management, ERP or related enterprise systems
  • Chemical, Chemical Engineering Degree / IT Degree / Business Degree or related industrydegree preferred
  • Enterprise cloud software and IT technical sales experience highly desired
  • Experience scoping, managing, and executing customer pilots and Proof of Concepts
  • Passion and people skills
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
