As the Sales VP for North America, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals while managing relationships with key stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the North American sales team, developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth in the MGA, underwriting, and carrier sectors.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers in insurance companies, including CEOs, CTOs, and Heads of Operations.
- Drive new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close high-value deals for the company’s software solutions.
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align the sales strategy with client needs and company objectives.
- Develop tailored solutions and presentations for large, complex clients in the insurance space, emphasizing value-driven propositions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual and team success.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring revenue targets and sales goals are consistently met.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10 years of experience selling software solutions into the insurance industry, specifically working with MGAs, underwriters, and carriers.
- Strong understanding of the insurance landscape, including key business drivers and challenges within the industry.
- Proven success in leading high-performing sales teams and driving significant revenue growth.
- Excellent track record of selling enterprise-level software, ideally in the InsurTech or SaaS space.
- Experience in building relationships with senior-level stakeholders and navigating long sales cycles in the insurance market.
- Deep knowledge of insurance technology solutions, including policy administration, claims management, and digital transformation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
