Overview
The Senior Cost Accountant role will support the iCTC finance team and report to the Manager, Cost Accounting. The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for costing and inventory analysis at all manufacturing locations, and develop and maintain an understanding of operations, manufacturing and supply chain business processes and translate actual and analytical results into reports and analysis meaningful to business partners. You will also work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting, controls and reporting requirements. A learning and growth mindset is key to this role at our company.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Prepare analysis of overhead and labor allocation, ensuring completeness of inputs and application of costs.
· Assist in analysis of inventory reserves, including analyzing inventory for risks, adjustments and coordinating with Operations to ensure timely updates and disposition.
· Maintain the accuracy of inventory costs, review variances, and ensure that all inventory reporting requirements are satisfied.
· Complete month-end journal entries, reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, and analyze variances.
· Review SOX controls to ensure adherence to internal controls, ensure process integrity within Cost/Inventory, and work with team members to resolve process issues and implement process improvements.
· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and audit activities, including preparation of PBC schedules
· Assist with the maintenance of the cost accounting system.

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
· 5 years work experience in cost accounting
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or relevant professional certification preferred
· Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools; NetSuite preferred
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solid understanding of GAAP
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail with an ability to multitask
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor and business partners
