Job Description
This is a temporary non-merit position. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.

The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for short-term LPNs to join our team working FULL TIME hours, on evenings or night shift, for a minimum of 15 weeks or up to 780 hours.
Rate of pay is $37.80
- for night shift.
- Wage of $37.80 is based on employees working a minimum of 80 hours a pay period for 15 weeks.
Employees working less than 80 hours a pay period will have an hourly wage of $33.52-$37.80.
Hours are 2 : 00 P.M.-10 : 30 P.M.
Will work 1 out of 3 weekends.
This position is not eligible for benefits. The candidate may apply for a permanent position at the end of the 15 weeks if interested.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator’s Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
