The Iowa Veterans Home is now accepting Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applications. This LPN will assist Quality & Compliance and the Medical Clinic.
Duties Include But Not Limited To
Monthly optional Medical Insurance Premium (Iowa Choice*) for 2025:
Single: $64/mo = employee share; $836/mo = state share
Family: $210/mo = employee share; $1,896/mo = state share
Single: Free
Family: $46
Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

The Iowa Veterans Home is now accepting Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applications. This LPN will assist Quality & Compliance and the Medical Clinic.
Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Under the direction of Quality & Compliance, the LPN will complete audits to ensure infection control policies and standards are followed.
- Will complete audits on the nursing units related to infection control and helping with infection control facility surveillance.
- Assists the Nurse Supervisor up to 20 hours week in supporting specialty resident clinics out of the IVH Medical Clinic including Dental, Podiatry, Wound, Vision, Chiropractic, and Dermatology.
- Provide educational in-services on infection control topics to the nursing units, during new employee orientation and as part of the monthly in service for all employees.
