The ideal CT Tech will play a crucial role in helping us continue to be the premier provider of radiologic services in Iowa by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic information.

Responsibilities Of The CT Technologist

• Performing CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Providing compassionate care including explanation of procedures to patients, their family, and others as needed to ensure the patient's understanding of the exam to be performed.
• Providing proper protection to patients, self, and others in the CT room in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• The CT Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
  
  

Qualifications Of The CT Technologist

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of radiologic technology.
• Must be certified in general radiography and CT.
• Must have a current state permit to practice.
