Assistant Teaching Professor of Chemistry Position
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University invites candidates to apply for two term faculty teaching positions at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching large, in-person introductory courses as well as advanced undergraduate courses.
- Course assignments may evolve over time and may include online teaching.
- Service work within the department, which may focus on issues of TA management, undergraduate affairs, and other parts of the life of the department and the college.
Requirements:
- PhD in chemistry or a closely related area.
- Teaching experience at the university level.
