4-H Summer Intern Position May-August, 2025
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing Henry County Fair events, including:
- 4-H educational presentations
- Clothing event
- Judging schedule for static projects
- Fair livestock events and other assigned 4-H program responsibilities
- Support and participate in Summer Camps held across various locations in Henry County.
- Assist with and provide support for Henry County youth programs throughout the summer.
- Recruit and collaborate with volunteers for Youth and 4-H activities in a team-oriented environment.
- Utilize a computer for fair data entry and word processing tasks.
- Provide leadership for youth programs, train volunteers, and serve as a resource person.
- Some evening and weekend work required.
- Knowledge of the 4-H community club program.
- Experience in leadership positions associated with youth development programs.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) & ability to learn new programs
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- High school diploma or equivalent, post high school education preferred.
