Responsibilities
- Assist with and coordinate summer events and activities such as day camps, 4-H workshops, and the County Fair.
- Assist with county and state fair entry processing.
- Assist with database entry and coordination.
- Must be available to work additional hours during the week of the county fair, July 10-15.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete background screening.
- Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation.
- Knowledge and/or experience as a member or volunteer in the Iowa 4-H program.
- Interest in Extension & Outreach as a career is desirable.
- Strong computer skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Cooperates well with others – a team player.
- Dependable.
- Able to work independently and with a group.
- Strong communication skills.
Additional Information
- Mid – May through early August. Start and end time are negotiable.
- Up to 40 hours per week.
- More hours during County Fair – July 10-15
