What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Management Student Office Assistant position at Iowa State University Foundation Student?
Students on the information management team have a vital role in assuring data integrity not only for the information management department but the foundation. This position will involve data searches, data quality/integrity updates, and data entry in the Foundation’s alumni database.
Duties include:
- Reviewing and entering data accurately in the ISU Foundation Ascend on Salesforce confidential database. (training will be provided)
- Searching other research databases/resources for data quality and integrity updates.
- Updating donor information in databases.
- Emailing within our department and others with questions or updates as needed.
- Researching returned mail.
- Completing special projects as assigned.
- May be called upon by other departments for special projects.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled at Iowa State University.
- Must be legally authorized to work off campus without additional approval from the ISSO.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and be detail-oriented with strong writing and research skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Details:
- Flexible schedule at 10-25 hours per week within normal business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday).
- Office is located off campus at 2505 University Blvd. Free and close parking. Located on brown south CyRide route.
- Starting pay = $12 per hour.
