What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative I position at Iowa Trust & Savings Bank?
· Provide account services to customers, including but not limited to receive deposits; process account withdrawals and loan payments; cash checks; transact night deposits and mail deposits; offer cashier’s checks and money orders.
· Respond in a positive manner and provide resolution to customer or staff inquiries.
· Exhibit effective use and understanding of all retail and commercial deposit products, deposit insurance, bank services and fees, and selling techniques.
· Perform cash drawer, cash vault, safe deposit, receptionist, and proof operation functions. Assist with cash audits.
· Resolve routine and more complex problems; communicate solutions and fulfill customer account information requests. Utilize available expertise and staff resources to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner.
· Participate in training sessions.
· Support audit and regulatory information requests by providing staff and/or examiners with detailed records and reports.
· Promote a high level of employee cooperation and rapport and utilize available expertise and staff resources to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner.
· Assure compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
· Diligently protect and appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information.

*High School diploma or equivalent, Associate degree; or one or more years related experience and/or training, including professional certification designation(s); or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a background in accounting, finance, lending, management, and supervisory skills. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school, or related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
· Knowledge of Bank operations, products, and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operations policies and procedures.
· Proficient skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines. Requires strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment to adjust quickly to different work situations; to maintain composure with frequent interruptions to work, under pressure and in stressful situations
· Understand the role of sales and customer service in a community bank and financial services environment. Responds sensitively to the needs and priorities of the customer (both internal and external); recognizes and takes appropriate action to meet their goals.
· May require travel among bank locations.
· Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in-the-course-of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
