Job Description
Communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner and accept payments from restaurant guests utilizing a computerized cash register and maintain an accurate bank.
Job Functions
- Communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Seat guests
- Operate computerized cash register to itemize and total guest food checks.
- Accept and process payments from customers in the form of cash, room charges, and credit cards in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and maintain tip pay-out slips.
Job Specifications
- Previous experience as a cashier preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit in a confined area for duration of shift.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
