Excellent law firm Patent Attorney (associate, partner track) or Patent Agent or Technical Advisor opportunity within a booming practice. Your responsibilities will be dependent upon your legal experience and/or technical background. Preparation and prosecution of patents, strategic portfolio counseling, opinions, licensing, due diligence, PTAB appeals, plus the potential for other intellectual property work.

Patent Attorney Requirements:

• Must have a state bar and be licensed to practice before the USPTO.
• A BS or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science; preferably an MS or higher
• At least 2 years of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience.
  
  

Patent Agent Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice before the USPTO.
• An MS or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science; preferably a PhD
• At least 1 year of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience.
  
  

Technical Specialist Requirements:

• USPTO registration or an interest in taking the USPTO exam
• PhD electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
• Any experience relating to the preparation and prosecution of patents would be a huge plus, but is not required
• If you do not have patent preparation/prosecution experience, you will preferably have postdoc and/or commercial experience
