About the Role: As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be the essential link between IPAP Sales, Customer Service, suppliers, and the warehouse. Your role is crucial in ensuring pricing accuracy, so our Customer Service Representatives can confidently interact with distributors about order fulfillment and price quoting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Integrity:
- Enter pricing into the system and provide automated quotes to members.
- Review and resolve pricing discrepancies on order confirmations.
- Send pricelists to Venture Partners and specific category contacts.
- Process, Review, and Track Supplier Confirmations:
- Verify and confirm pricing and quantities, ensuring minimums are met.
- Process exceptions, changes, revisions, and pricing related to supplier confirmations.
- Communicate supplier shelf-life concerns and substitutions with the sales team.
- Supplier Integrity:
- Request item specs, pricing, and factors from appropriate parties for item setup.
- Maintain accurate supplier files.
- Maintain item integrity by inactivating and discontinuing items when requested by suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. You'll be working with VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, pivot tables, slicers, and reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail while maintaining accuracy.
- Multitasking Abilities: Must be detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Record-Keeping: Accurate and thorough record-keeping with a strong ability to reprioritize workload quickly and effectively.
- Positive Attitude: Ability to handle an intense, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Independent Productivity: Ability to remain productive while working alone.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle different rules for different customers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
