Advanced Manufacturing Technician

IperionX is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at IperionX’s Titanium Production Facility at the Titanium Manufacturing Campus in the Southern Virginia Technology Park. Requirements and Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two-year degree or certification in manufacturing/advanced manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of CNC machining and programming.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing systems (specifically metal systems).
• Familiarity with quality systems and inspection devices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with metal part finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

• Previous experience or coursework related to CNC machining.
• Knowledge/experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Basic understanding of additive manufacturing materials and processes.

Responsibilities/Objectives will include, but not limited to:

• Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC, wire EDM, and other part manufacturing machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Operate and maintain additive manufacturing systems, such SLM, EOS, and other metal 3D printers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Finish machined and 3D printed parts to customer specifications; document, optimize, and propose automation solutions to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to verify conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Abide by and contribute to corporate safety regulations and initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
