Job Summary
Our Oakville location is looking for a dynamic and energetic Project Coordinator/Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing Customer Service Sales Team. The successful applicant will manage our distributor projects for industrial, mechanical and municipal piping products in the US region. The primary objective is to manage the quotation of IPEX products through our network of Regional Managers and Independent representatives. The position will require contact with external engineer firms that may require providing technical information on our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help the U.S. Sales Team meet their annual sales and growth objectives.
- Relay information to and from Customer Service Representatives and Regional Sales Managers
- Follow up with Customers to review quotes won and lost
- Required to work with sales staff, innovation, marketing and production.
- Quote industrial, municipal and electrical products as required
- Follow up on quoted projects for competitive feedback. Revise quotes as required. Distribute technical documentation for IPEX mechanical, industrial and municipal products.
- Maintain quotes for OEM customers.
- Manage CRM for all quotes generated.
- Maintain and organize standard products cost and drawings.
Education & Experience:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate technical information in simple terms.
- A strong customer service focus.
- High energy, a positive attitude and a team focused outlook.
- An ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation skills.
- In future the ability to overnight travel within the US
- Skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to provide technical support by referring to various IPEX publications.
- Understanding of costing principles, and/or ability to organize cost information.
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel preferred.
- High degree of organization.
