Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro/Mechanical Systems Technician to provide tactical and technical support to our Engineering, Production, and Manufacturing teams. In this role, you will be responsible for activities such as the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro/mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics, and logic systems. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot, test, and isolate faults in systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Integrate, test, functionally verify, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves, systems, and components.
- Perform intermediate and/or depot level component maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Assist engineers in reviewing and developing design concepts, tooling, and test hardware, providing feedback for improvements.
- Review, improve, and provide feedback on work instructions for complex mechanical systems and installations.
- Safely work with chemical and/or high-pressure hazardous systems.
- Ensure tasks are completed on schedule, safely, and professionally.
- Adapt rapidly to changing roles in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
- Innovate and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment for assembly, testing, and maintenance of valve-related systems.
- Provide support during overtime for integration tasks or test campaigns.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in aerospace, aircraft, R&D, or related industrial or defense fields.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and drive to resolve technical issues.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and use lifting equipment for heavier hardware.
- Strong work ethic, with proven ability to follow directions and meet expectations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Physically able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with software systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

The pay offered to a successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including education, work experience, location, job responsibilities, certifications, and more. Additionally, IPGenius provides a comprehensive benefits package, all subject to eligibility.
