What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Build Compliance Specialist position at IPM?
Job Description
IPM is seeking a Compliance Officer to support our team with build-site inspections. The ideal candidate will be able to provide support for Architectural Control Committee by performing regular inspections of active home-build sites to ensure compliance with Community Guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Walk each active build site per the contract
- Perform inspections based on community guidelines
- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person, and electronically.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of guidelines to determine the validity of complaints and report to Architectural Control Committee.
- Organize, create agendas and record meeting minutes for Architectural Control Committee.
- Maintain project tracking report
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a construction environment and communicate with builders, homeowners, and contractors.
- Computer skills to input findings into database and generate reports.
- Understanding of the basics of construction and building. (do not need to be an expert)
- Ability to stand and walk sites in all weather
- Construction experience a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
