Design Co-op - Plumbing & Fire Protection

We are searching for a dedicated Design Co-op - Plumbing & Fire Protection who will join our industry-leading team at our state-of-the-art, corporate headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will be involved in the application of engineering fundamentals and project-related services in support of design assignments. This developmental position will enable you to apply theoretical knowledge to practical application.

What You'll Do

• Work with assigned design engineers and drafters to execute design drawings and specifications as required to support assigned projects.
• Ensure code and statute compliance in all projects.
• Use computer-aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents.
• Routinely archive and retrieve data from electronic database for support of work.
• Research equipment selection from catalogs under the direction of the Project Designer/Engineer.
• Become proficient in the use of a computer for Design and CAD applications.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area, which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.
• Keep the Project Designer/Engineer aware of workload and request work when needed.
• Special projects as assigned.

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in design engineering from an accredited technical institution or college.
• Proven time management skills in order to juggle more than one project at a time.
• Customer Service experience exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills.
