We are looking for a dedicated Senior Consultant (Mechanical Engineering) to join our talented design team on-site with out client (ThermoFisher) in Puerto Rico.
In this role, you will manage and coordinate activities and project staff in the designated subject matter area. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing processes to take facilities from concept to fully operational.

Position Responsibilities
- Executes strategic plan for the subject matter for the business in concert with overall divisional business plan.
- Promotes IPS and participates in the preparation and delivery of sales presentations for the subject matter.
- Works with sales and marketing support staff. Develops and maintains client and vendor relations.
- Coordinates with project managers to determine project scope, complexity, and schedule for project development.
- Develops project execution plans (budget, milestones, deliverables, and staffing plans) to deliver projects on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.
- Ensures the quality, accuracy, and completeness of overall work as to engineering, and compliance with established IPS standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances.
- Adheres to project schedules and provides adequate training, technical and administrative guidance, and instruction to project team members.
- Communicates technical requirements and coordinates with resource allocations with department leads to ensure proper distribution of resources.
- Recommends additional training to ensure technical competence in the subject matter.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of diversified engineering experience, at least 3 of which have been in a Lead role with respect to designing and construction of engineering projects.
- Progressive ability, capacity and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from others.
- Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, superior communication skills, team building, and strong work ethic. Must be able to build rapport with department staff.
