The Director, Market and Social Research (Finance / Economy focus) plays a pivotal role in driving the research initiatives of our organization, with a primary focus on consumer finance and financial decision-making. This position is crucial for expanding our presence in both federal and commercial markets, supporting clients such as the Federal Reserve, Department of Labor, and Census, as well as not-for-profit and academic research organizations. The Director will lead account teams to design and execute comprehensive research programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage account teams in the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research projects tailored to client objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with federal agencies, commercial entities, and nonprofit institutions, focusing on both business retention and expansion.
- Oversee the entire business development process, including identifying opportunities, capturing leads, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Employ advanced research methodologies and techniques, such as usability research, user testing, product testing, A / B testing, experimental methods, eye tracking, behavioral science, and communications research.
- Actively contribute to thought leadership by publishing insights and participating in industry forums.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, Ipsos’ products and services, and the competitive landscape in the finance and economy research domain.
- Manage partnerships with a range of organizations, including large enterprises, small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs).

In accordance with NY / CO / CA / WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and / or certifications.
