Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled onsite Senior Desktop Support to join our team in New York. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. This role requires a strong background in various Microsoft technologies, including M365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows 11.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line technical support to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, and replication.
- Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments, including mailbox management and server health checks.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Manage server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
- Document all technical procedures, configurations, and resolutions accurately.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency support as needed
- Ability to Troubleshoot complex desktop/laptop issues
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a 2nd line support role.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange administration.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11 installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with server management and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Amazon AWS, Azure).
- Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki
- Experience working with Mac, Windows and mobile devices
- Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and technologies.
