Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will play a key role in coordinating the full systems life cycle applications development for various computer platforms critical to the operation of DSS programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, developing user stories, conducting testing, and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. The position involves collaborating with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of applications to spec and on time.

Position Summary:

The position involves collaborating with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of applications to spec and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate testing efforts, including test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate QA testing between developers, QA staff, and stakeholders.
- Implement IT quality assurance standards for application development.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements, and create user stories.
- Develop user stories, break down requirements, and ensure deliverable functionality.
- Provide management reporting and assist with information dissemination.
- Analyze and document current systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements.
- Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, and developers to coordinate the building of applications.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in gathering business requirements, writing user stories, and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience using business analysis tools such as JIRA, Balasamiq, and MS Visio.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience overseeing large project deliverables.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing data models and application prototypes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
