• Position: Data and Automation Analyst
• Location: 2 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid)
• Work Authorization: GC/Citizen
The Data and Automation Analyst leverages data analytics, scripting, and automation tools to streamline cybersecurity processes and improve threat detection. This position supports various teams—engineering, governance, and incident response—by delivering data-driven insights and automated solutions in a government contracting setting.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, scripting, and process automation, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SIEM tools.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and threat intelligence.
• Ability to pass background checks and secure necessary clearances.
Job Responsibilities
• Collect, clean, and analyze cybersecurity-related data from multiple sources to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Develop scripts and automation workflows to reduce manual tasks in incident response, vulnerability management, and system monitoring.
• Generate dashboards and visual reports to help stakeholders quickly interpret security data.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and engineers to refine detection rules and alerts.
• Propose improvements to data pipelines and automation frameworks, aligning with industry best practices.
• Document processes and maintain code repositories for automation solutions.
• Stay current with emerging data analytics trends and automation technologies.
