The investor relations associate will be an integral part of investor communication for various funds and will report directly to 3 senior executives of the firm.
Responsibilities include:
> Fund/Investor Management
Process investors through subscription process
Maintain investor database
Maintain investor contact records
Fund holdings maintenance
Reporting (Quarterly & Annually)
· Formation of report
· Updating report with information from most recent quarter
· Coordinating investor conference calls and webinars
· Distributing investor reports and answering questions
Scheduling major investor events
Assistance in coordinating investor meeting in the US and overseas
> Sales
Fostering relationships with existing and new investors
Follow up with potential leads through marketing campaigns
Coordinate meetings with senior management and potential investors
o Marketing
· Coordinate with 3rd party social media marketing consultants
· Manage social media accounts and respond to inquiries
· Draft press releases per marketing schedule
· Upload press releases to social media sites
· Distribute PR within organization
Candidate Requirements include:
· 5 years of experience in a relevant field; real estate, banking, finance, lending, sales, communications
· Strong written & oral communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree from four-year university in a relevant field; finance, economics, communications, business, marketing – minimum 3.5 GPA
· Outgoing personality and desire to interface with high net worth/institutional US and overseas investors
· Understanding or demonstrable willingness to understand complex financial structures and investment terminology
· Microsoft Office & Salesforce skills
· Positive attitude and ability to work independently within tight deadlines at a high-level of efficiency
