What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Maintenance position at IRAY Companies?
I.R.A.Y Auction is looking to hire a motivated individual to maintain our lot before, during, and after the auction! Typical hours are 8-4:30 Monday through Friday so we need someone part time coming at least 2 days a week.
Requirements: Willing to learn how to operate a skid steer, forklift, and drive semi/manual transmission vehicles, General knowledge about engines and machinery, General mechanical background/skills (light duty) Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work increased hours during auction months.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Loading and unloading customer equipment with skid steer or forklift
Minor engine work and repairs
Driving machinery, semi trucks, moving trailers
Lining up equipment, large and small, for auction preparation
Lot & shop cleanup, landscaping, and renovation as needed
Ability to adapt to new tasks and challenges
