Iris Memory Care of Tulsa is a small assisted living community that specializes in the care of seniors living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. We have three buildings on our campus with 18 residents in each building - a total of 54 residents. We are looking for a strong, experience memory care Certified Medication Aide with advancements in respiratory (ACMA) to join our team.
This is a full-time, salaried position for an ACMA to serve as Staffing Coordinator for our small assisted living community. This position will report to our Wellness Director who is the clinical leader of the community. The right fit for this position would be a strong ACMA looking to grow as a manager who is able to dedicate the time and energy needed to succeed.
Must be a Certified Medication Aide with advancements in Respiratory. This is a requirement of the position. The staffing coordinator is responsible for managing caregiver staffing schedule to ensure facility is fully staffed to meet the needs of the Residents. He/she also assists in planning, organizing, developing and coordinating orientation on all new caregiver Team Members.
Primary Essential Job Duties:

Serve as Weekend Manager on Duty and Staffing Coordinator.

Participates in all staff development programs to expand and develop abilities.

Partner with Human Resources to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation of new hire.

Reviews staff schedules and service delivery tasks with Executive Director/Wellness Director.

Assists with activities of daily living/ADL’s, environmental orientation, dining services, life enrichment programs, laundry and housekeeping, meal services, and other care services assigned, while encouraging self-care and independence.

Receives and gives report from the previous shift and to the next shift.

Reviews and carries out task assignments with the Wellness Director/Designated Supervisor.

Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.

Assists with orientation of new staff to job responsibilities.

Provides services as indicated on Resident assessment, task sheets, and service plans
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:

Minimum two to four years experience in working with older adults
-
Twelve (12) plus years of education preferred. High school diploma or GED required.

At least 18 years old

Experience with dementia residents preferred.

Experience with staffing required

Must be a Certified Medication Aide with Advanced Respiratory (ACMA) with active certification on the OK Nurse Aide Registry

Ability/willingness to perform all position responsibilities adequately.
