Associate Director, Financial Control

Our North America finance team are hiring and we are seeking an Associate Director, Financial Control to join our fast growing US business. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and accounting activities of the Swipeclock business unit and report directly to the Senior Director, Finance.

What you be doing

• Collaborating with the Senior Director, Finance and other senior team members to support the company’s financial goals
• Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Monitoring and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted financial results, providing insights and recommendations
• Establishing and maintaining effective internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conducting regular reviews of financial processes to identify and address areas of improvement
• Coordinating and managing external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing audit findings
• Supervising and mentoring the accounting and operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Supporting the Director FP&A in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Leveraging technology solutions to drive greater efficiencies and cost savings.

What we are seeking

• Experience in accounting and auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
• CPA license
• Experience conducting monthly financial close, preparing supporting workpapers and reconciliations, overseeing AP and AR functions
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
